The most commonly injected fillers are: your own fat (autologoust fat) and the products RESTYLANE® and RADIESSE™. Bovine Collagen is declining in popularity. Injectable fillers reduce the signs of aging caused by sun exposure, gravity, and years of facial muscle movement.

Injectable fillers add fullness to the lips and cheeks by plumping up creased and sunken areas without a surgical procedure. However, deep folds in the face or brow caused by overactive muscles or by loose skin may be more effectively treated with cosmetic surgery, such as a Facelift or Browlift.
